Sophora japonica (Japanese Pagoda Tree) extract is derived from the flower buds and fruits of the tree. It’s rich in flavonoids, particularly rutin and quercetin, contains significant amounts of triterpenoids, as well as vitamin C and vitamin P, and has been used traditionally in East Asian medicine for centuries, particularly in Chinese medicine.
