5-HTP powders are found in the “pods” of griffonia seed and are the most biologically active L-HTP. 5-HTP is used in developed countries such as Europe and the United States for prescription antidepressants, or for bodybuilding, sleep improvement and other dietary supplements (health food) sales.
Currently, Griffonia seeds are only available in West Africa worldwide, and the harvesting process is purely manual, so 5-HTP is relatively rare compared to other plant-derived ingredients.
Currently, there are two main production processes for 5htp, one extract and one is fermented 5htp, customers can choose according to their products.
