Pomegranate peel extract, derived from pomegranate shell, is the dried peel of pomegranate. The main active ingredients are tannins and alkaloids. Tannins include reverse gallic acid and Gallicacid, and the most important is ellagicacid (EA); Alkaloids include pelletierine, isopellettierine and pseudopeletierine.
