Sterculia lychnophora (Pangdahai in Chinese) extract powder extract from sterculia lychnophora seed, contains galactose, Astragalus membranaceus mucin and pentose, as well as the active ingredient panghaisu (pingpo) and trace elements such as calcium and magnesium. It is mainly produced in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and other countries.
Polysaccharides are its functional components, which have the functions of anti-inflammatory, treating bacillary dysentery and inhibiting the formation of calcium oxalate crystals. Water soluble polysaccharide PP Ⅲ, which is composed of galactose arabinose and rhamnose, was isolated from fat seawater extract. The seed coat contains pentosan and mucilage, which belongs to pectinic acid and is mainly composed of galacturonic acid, arabinose, galactoacetic acid, chemical Book calcium and magnesium. It is also known as containing the active ingredient sterculin. The endosperm contains about 1% green volatile oil, 59% bassorin and 1.6% astringent substances.
