Product Details
Tetrahydromagnolo is derived from the Magnolia dried root, which is the dried bark, root bark and branch bark of Magnolia officinalis or other Magnolia officinalis. It likes to be born in a warm and humid climate and well-drained acidic soil, and it grows in the woods on the foothills of hillsides and roadsides and streams. Picking and processing: From the beginning of summer to the summer solstice, peel off the dry bark or root bark of plants that have grown for more than 20 years (the outer rough skin must be scraped off first), dry in the shade; Take it out and dry it in the sun, steam it to make it soft, roll it into a tube, and dry it in the shade. For the small root bark, it is only necessary to remove the soil, cut it off properly, and dry it in the shade. Magnolia officinalis is bitter, pungent and warm in nature, and belongs to the spleen, stomach, lung and large intestine meridians. We mainly offerings:
- Magnolia bark extract powder 10:1 20:1 50:1
- Magnolol2%- 98%
- Total phenol(Magnolol+Honokiol)2%-98%
- Dihydrohonkial-b (DHH-B) 98%
- Honokiol2%- 98%
Health Benefits
- Anti-inflammatory
In the inflammatory reaction, the cell membrane phospholipids release arachidonic acid (AA) under the action of phospholipase A2. There are two metabolic pathways for AA, one is to generate prostaglandin and thromboxane by the action of cyclooxygenase (COX), and the other is to generate prostaglandin and thromboxane by the action of cyclooxygenase (COX). The action of lipoxygenase (LO) produces leukotrienes (LT). Honokiol at higher concentrations inhibited the activity of COX in disrupted cells, while inhibiting the LO metabolic pathway. Therefore, honokiol is a dual inhibitor of COX and LO. The anti-inflammatory effect of honokiol may be related to its inhibition of two metabolic pathways of AA.
- Antioxidant
Honokiol have free radical scavenging effects, which can scavenge parahydroxyl radicals and hydrogen peroxide. At the same time, it can protect the activity of mitochondrial respiratory chain enzymes against NADPH-induced peroxidative stress, antagonize the oxidative hemolysis of red blood cells, and inhibit lipid peroxidation. Several in vitro and in vivo studies have examined the antioxidant activity of Magnolia officinalis extract, which is 1000 times stronger than alpha-tocopherol.
- Antibacterial effect
It have strong antibacterial effect on cariogenic bacteria Streptococcus mutans (Streptococus matuans), and its antibacterial active ingredients are determined to be magnolol and honokiol. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the two against Streptococcus mutans was 6.3 μg/ml, and their antibacterial effects (against Streptococcus mutans) were stronger than that of berberine. Magnolia officinalis and Magnolia officinalis volatile oil saturated aqueous solution have certain antibacterial effects on Staphylococcus aureus, Sarcinus and Bacillus subtilis. Magnolia officinalis also has antibacterial activity against pneumococcus and Shigella.
